PMI Credential Holders World Wide May 2011

When I thought of doing PMP in 2009, I use to ask my self and also other people use to ask the following questions: how many pmi pmp credential holders are there in the world. how many pmi credential holders worldwide. People didn’t ask these questions to know the credibility of PMI, we all know PMI is a very old and authentic institute but may be they want to know where they stand.

Since, I may be new and I didn’t get an exact answer to this question at that time, as how many people are pmi certified. But today I received a newsletter from PMI and now I can announce to the world and give then an answer to the questions of how many PMI credential holders world wide.

There are 451,171 people who have successfully achieved various PMI certifications and there distribution is show below:

PMP World Wide:

PgMP World Wide:

575

CaPM World Wide:

14,465

PMI-RMP World Wide:

826

PMI-SP World Wide:

466

The above list is the certificate holders, who have achieved pmi certifications till May 2011.

    Does anybody has the updated PMI credential holders number?. I’m interested in the PgMP numbers mainly. I’m PMP and PgMP certified (#3 in Mexico) preparing a conference for the PgMP certification next month, your feedback will be very appreciated..

      I don’t have the very updated version yet, but will strive to get it for 2012 as well.
      I think it would be better for you to contact the local PMI Chapter in Mexico.

      Or simply email PMI support, I am sure they will get back to you.
